I have heard so many good things about your Women's Forum. I know it would benefit me and I want to attend. Unfortunately, I have no money and no immediate prospects of getting any money anytime soon.
I won't burden you with how this sad situation came about and what's past really doesn't matter. I have attended so many of the well-intentioned, free programs for women, both on-line and in workshops and seminars, and have first-hand experience of why they are not successful - the blind leading the blind.
I agree that charity is the bane of entrepreneurship and I am not asking for charity. I am asking for opportunity to prove myself. I am smart, able-bodied, hard-working, honest and capable.
Will you please allow me to trade some of my time and skills as a volunteer in your office helping in whatever way you need at no salary in return for my attending the Forum? I promise I will earn my way and you will be happy with my assistance. Please reply soonest to XXXXXXXXXXX.
